About The Role
Our client is a well‑established and highly regarded supplier of fastening solutions to the construction industry. Servicing trades across Australia since 1994, they have built a strong reputation for quality, reliability and service.
Due to continued demand, we are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team in an ongoing casual position.
Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, this is a hands‑on warehouse role combining counterbalance forklift operation, pick packing, stock movement and general warehouse duties.
The position is currently based in Ermington, with the business scheduled to relocate to Kemps Creek in the coming months. Applicants must be comfortable working from both locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods
- Receive, check and put away stock
- Assist with stock movement and general inventory control
- Prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate warehouse and stock records
- Complete general warehouse and housekeeping duties
- Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You – To be successful, you will have:
- A current LF Forklift Licence – essential
- Proven counterbalance forklift experience
- Previous pick packing and general storeperson experience
- Confidence loading, unloading and moving stock safely
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically capable of completing hands‑on warehouse duties
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
- Ability to work from Ermington initially and Kemps Creek following the relocation
