About the Role

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Consultant , you will play a key role in driving showroom sales, generating new opportunities, following up on quotations, and converting leads into customers. You will be the face of our Geelong showroom, building strong relationships with retail, trade, and commercial customers while providing expert advice and outstanding service.

Working Hours

- Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Tuesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

- Drive showroom sales and achieve individual sales targets
- Welcome and engage customers entering the showroom
- Qualify customer needs and provide tailored product solutions
- Prepare quotations and proactively follow up on opportunities to secure sales
- Build relationships with homeowners, builders, tilers, developers,



and trade customers
- Generate repeat business through exceptional customer service and follow-up
- Answer customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Process sales orders and customer payments
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity
- Assist with showroom presentation, merchandising, and displays
- Coordinate customer deliveries and collections
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

About You

Essential

- Proven sales experience with a strong track record of achieving targets
- Strong ability to convert enquiries into sales
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- A customer-first approach and passion for building relationships
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using technology and business systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled presentation and positive attitude
- Availability to work Saturdays

Highly Regarded

- Experience in tiles, flooring, building materials, kitchen, bathroom, or showroom sales
- Previous retail or trade sales experience
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Existing relationships within the building or renovation industry
