Mobie is a growing mobile phone accessories and repair business with 9 stores across New Zealand and 4 stores across Australia.
Our stores are located in major shopping centres, providing customers with a convenient range of mobile phone accessories and professional phone repair services.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Retail Assistants to join our teams at our Southland and Doncaster stores.
Full time, Part-Time and Casual positions are available.
About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service while assisting customers with mobile accessories and carrying out mobile phone repairs.
Your duties will include:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting customers with mobile phone accessories and products
- Processing sales and payments
- Diagnosing customer phone issues and recommending suitable repair solutions
- Carrying out mobile phone repairs, including screen replacements, battery replacements and other common repairs
- Explaining repair options, costs and turnaround times to customers
- Managing repair jobs and ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard
- Keeping the store clean, organised and well-presented
- Managing stock and restocking displays
- Working independently and as part of a team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Good knowledge of mobile phones and mobile accessories
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A strong retail background and confidence in recommending products and services
- A positive, reliable and proactive attitude
- The ability to work confidently and independently when required
- Availability to work on Thursdays and Fridays
- Weekend availability is required for Full-Time positions.
