We currently have a secure casual position available for a Medium Rigid (MR) Driver - based out of our Mordialloc Food Service distribution facility in Melbourne.

We are looking for a professional, experienced MR Driver with a good driving record to perform multi-drop deliveries of milk, dairy and food service products to Cafe's, Restaurants, Clubs and our industrial customers. The successful applicants will be rostered for up to 5 shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 6:30pm to 2:30am.

This is a secure position working with an experienced and friendly team in a busy and dynamic Food Service environment, with an opportunity to progress to full time employment. With our strong customer service focus, overtime opportunities are regularly available.

Key Requirements/Skills





Must have a valid heavy vehicle licence (MR or higher);

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely;

Be highly focused on safety, quality, hygiene, delivery and efficiency;

Good customer service and effective communication skills;

Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative;

Sound understanding of COR (Transport Chain of Responsibility);

Flexibility to work shift work, including some occasional weekend work;

Ability to work overtime;

Ability to work unsupervised, and also as part of a team; and

Physical capability to undertake multiple drop deliveries.

Responsibilities are varied and include:

Detailed inventory control;

Picking orders during the delivery route;

Chain of Responsibility and Load restraint;

Quality, safety and hygiene control;

Manual handling/ trolleying of product; and

Monitoring and reducing waste.
