We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic, motivated and professional Disability Support Worker for Ipswich region.

McArthur Community Care is a Registered NDIS Provider in Queensland. We specialise in delivering individualised and flexible supports through a holistic and person-centred approach to maintain independence and social connection with the community. We are committed to providing the highest quality of service to maintain people's independence, choice and control.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an significant part in assisting people to achieve their goals as specified in their NDIS plan.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:

- Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry
- Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport
- Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping
- Social & Community participation - engage in the community and meet people.

Applicants will require:

- Relevant Industry experience working with clients who have a physical disability
- Certificate III in Individual Support; Aged Care, Disability Cert IV or equivalent
- Current Working with children blue card and NDIS workers screening check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
- Medication Certificates/experience will be looked at favourably
- Valid Driver's License
