We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales/Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Terika Pty Ltd in Coffs Harbour. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales across our retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our business, interacting with customers and contributing to our store's success and growth targets.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in finding products that meet their needs
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
- Maintaining product displays and ensuring the store is neat, organised and visually appealing
- Restocking shelves and managing inventory levels in your assigned areas
- Providing expert product knowledge and making recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and promptly
- Supporting promotional activities and implementing store marketing initiatives
- Following cash handling procedures and maintaining till accountability
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives and targets
- Adhering to company policies, health and safety regulations, and visual merchandising standards

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service workplace (building industry)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers
