The Role

We're looking for an experienced Sales and Retention Manager who can drive membership growth, lead a high-performing team and use insights to deliver strong outcomes for both our members and the organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will lead the Sales & Retention team and play a key role in delivering Police Health’s growth strategy. You will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that attract new members, strengthen member loyalty, and enhance the overall member experience, while ensuring strong governance and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver sales and retention strategies that drive sustainable membership growth.

Optimise sales channels, partnerships and member engagement activities to attract and retain members.

Monitor performance, analyse data and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Lead and develop the Sales & Retention team to achieve growth and retention outcomes.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide reporting and recommendations to senior leaders.

Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, governance frameworks and organisational policies.

About You





You’re an experienced people leader with a strong track record of driving growth, improving retention outcomes, and leading teams to achieve meaningful results. You combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach and enjoy using data, insights and collaboration to deliver commercial and member‑focused outcomes.

You’ll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Experience leading sales and/or retention functions in a member, customer or service‑based organisation.

Proven ability to deliver growth, engagement and retention outcomes.

Strong leadership skills with experience developing high‑performing teams.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship‑building skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.

A collaborative, adaptable and results‑focused approach.

Experience within private health insurance, financial services, membership organisations or other regulated environments.

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of a National Police Check on commencement and every three years thereafter, as well as confirmation of Australian work rights.
