MacKellar is seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators to join our production team at our mining operation near Nyngan, NSW.
You’ll work a family-friendly 7 days on, 7 days off roster, operating CAT 777 haul trucks as part of an experienced production crew.

The Role
As a Haul Truck Operator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe and efficient production across the site.
You’ll be responsible for operating large mining haul trucks,
meeting production targets and working closely with the wider production team to keep the operation moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
- CAT 777 haul trucks or similar-sized equipment
- Completing pre-start inspections and equipment checks
- Reporting faults and maintenance requirements
- Following site procedures, mine plans and safety standards
- Maintaining protected and productive operating practices
- Working closely with Supervisors, Dispatch and fellow operators
- Contributing to daily production targets
- Maintaining a high standard of equipment care and housekeeping
What You’ll Bring
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated mining experience operating haul trucks
- CAT 777 or similar-sized haul truck experience – essential
- Strong understanding of safe mining practices and risk management
- Commitment to site safety and compliance
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to DIDO to site and work a rotating 7/7 roster
