The Hospitality Services Manager at Bayview is responsible for catering and housekeeping. You'll lead two teams to deliver to the highest possible standards in both departments.

Your role in catering includes preparing and serving meals, planning menus, managing dietary requirements, ordering food and supplies, stock control, kitchen management and food safety compliance. You'll also train, supervise and manage junior employees to carry out food handling tasks.

By overseeing the housekeeping department, you'll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene are consistently maintained across the site. This includes providing direction and support to housekeeping staff, monitoring the standard of completed work, identifying areas requiring attention and ensuring cleaning and presentation standards are maintained in accommodation, communal areas and other facilities.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, manage and supervise staff to cater for groups of up to 200 people.
- Prepare and serve main meals for groups less than 50 without additional staff.
- Plan menus and recipes, including seasonal menus, in consultation with the Camp Director and Manager.
- Cater for special dietary requirements and requests.
- Plan and purchase appropriate food supplies and general catering requisites.
- Implement and maintain the campsite Food Safety Plan and ensure all food safety records are accurately completed and maintained in accordance with regulations.
- Effectively train and mentor junior staff to develop capacity.




- Take overall responsibility for the operation and performance of the housekeeping department.
- Establish and maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and readiness across all accommodation, communal and public areas.
- Provide effective leadership, direction and support to catering and housekeeping staff.
