The Clinical Midwife Specialist (CMS 2) at Sydney Local Health District, Canterbury Hospital, NSW, provides senior midwifery clinical leadership and develops specialist practice within a midwifery unit. The CMS 2 employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
