Affinity Nursing is a market leader in regional, rural and remote travel nursing and a contracted supplier to health departments nationally.

We are looking for a Client Specialist to take ownership of a state based healthcare portfolio, understand where the workforce opportunities are and drive stronger delivery across our established client partnerships.

About the Role

This isn’t a traditional Account Management or Business Development role. Instead, you’ll sit at the center of client demand, workforce supply and performance, understanding what our clients need and where Affinity should focus to achieve stronger outcomes.

As a Client Specialist, you’ll take ownership of workforce delivery and performance across your state. You’ll use data, market insights and your knowledge to influence and execute, identifying where the opportunities are, deciding where attention is needed and driving the actions required to improve results.

You’ll work closely with our Recruitment, Placements and other internal teams to turn those priorities into action, maintain momentum and follow through to outcome.

This is a hands on role for someone who can think commercially, make decisions, influence others and get things moving.

Key Responsibilities





Take ownership of workforce delivery and portfolio performance across your state.

Understand current and upcoming client demand, workforce requirements and portfolio priorities.

Work closely with Recruitment and Placements to align activity with client demand.

Build strong, proactive relationships with key hospital stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to improve delivery and utilisation within existing client agreements.

Respond quickly to changes in demand, availability, client requirements and market conditions.

Track actions through to outcome and share insights that support stronger fill rates and commercial performance.

Preferred Experience

We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and are more interested in how you think and operate than a specific job title.

Experience working with data to identify trends, opportunities or performance gaps will be highly regarded, along with experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM or workforce management platform.
