About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist an NDIS participant in St Kilda. This role primarily involves providing community access, travel, and transport support, helping the participant attend appointments and safely access the community while promoting independence and choice.

This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys working one-on-one and making a meaningful difference in a participant’s daily life.

Key Responsibilities
Transport the participant to and from appointments and community activities.
Support safe community access and encourage independence.
Assist with planning and attending outings as requested by the participant.
Provide companionship and meaningful social support.
Monitor participant wellbeing and report any concerns.
Complete accurate shift notes and required documentation.
Follow all NDIS Practice Standards, participant care plans, and company policies.

Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain if required).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Full Victorian Driver Licence.
Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
Reliable and well-maintained vehicle.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred).
Current National Police Check (if applicable).
Right to work in Australia.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.15 – $44.85 per hour
