DVA Fabrications is a WA family-owned manufacturer of custom commercial furniture, cabinetry, metalwork and upholstery. From our Neerabup workshop, we produce furniture for schools, libraries, workplaces and other commercial projects.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and practical Trade Assistant or Factory Hand to join our production team. You will support experienced tradespeople, prepare materials, assist with production and help keep work moving safely and efficiently. This role may suit someone with workshop experience or someone with the right attitude and is keen to learn.

What you will do

· Assist with furniture fabrication, assembly, finishing, packing and deliveries.

· Prepare, measure, mark and organise materials, components and hardware.

· Use approved hand tools and workshop machinery once trained.

· Check work for accuracy and report defects, shortages or problems promptly.

· Sort, move and store materials and products safely and appropriately.

· Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.

· Work cooperatively with tradespeople and follow daily production priorities.

What we are looking for

· Reliable attendance, punctuality and a solid willingness to work.

· A safety-conscious attitude and willingness to follow instructions.





· Basic measurement skills and valuable attention to detail.

· A practical approach and willingness to learn different workshop tasks.

· Ability to work well in a small team.

· Capacity to perform the inherent requirements of the role safely, with reasonable adjustments considered where applicable.

· Legal right to work in Australia.

· Experience with hand tools, power tools or workshop machinery.

· A current driver's licence and White Card.

· Forklift license ( preferred but not essential )

· Experience in furniture manufacturing, cabinetry / joinery, metalwork, upholstery ( preferred but not essential )
