Payroll Officer - Heathwood

Our client, based in Heathwood, is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid end-to-end payroll experience who is confident working across payroll compliance, employee entitlements and reporting.

Duties include but not limited to:

n

n
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing
n
- Process wages, salaries, allowances, deductions, leave and entitlements
n
- Maintain payroll records, including new starters and terminations
n
- Manage superannuation processing and reporting
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation
n
- Interpret employment conditions and employee entitlements
n
- Complete payroll reconciliations and reporting
n
- Assist with payroll tax and statutory reporting
n
- Respond to employee payroll queries
n
- Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams




n
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across payroll information
n
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll systems and processes
n

To be considered for the role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and employee entitlements
n
- Experience processing wages, salaries, allowances, deductions, leave and superannuation
n
- Experience with payroll reconciliations, payroll tax and statutory reporting
n
- Confidence interpreting awards and employment conditions
n
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence handling payroll queries
n
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
n
- Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Office
n
- Full Australian working rights
