At Active OOSH (Out of School Hours), we are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.

n

We are looking for casual Educators in the Tweed area for the September/October school holiday period, with the potential for ongoing work.

n

We have services at Centaur, Banora Point, Kingscliff and Terranora.

n

If you love interacting with children aged between 5-12 years, working with a team, and making an impact in your local community, this is the role for you! Active OOSH offers flexible work hours, competitive rates, and a supportive work environment.

n

As an Educator, you will be responsible for interacting with children, providing a supportive environment and helping to oversee children's activities, both on and off site.

n

Educators could work up to 35 hours per week in the school holiday period with varying shifts available between 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

n

Key Responsibilities

- Support and oversee fun holiday activities, games and excursions.
n
- Engage with children and provide supervision to ensure their safety.
n




- Assist with tasks to contribute to a safe and smooth-running service for children and their families.
n
- Communicate with parents and caregivers when needed.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Availability during the upcoming school holiday period (28 September - 12 October).
n
- Experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
n
- The ability to work well as part of a team and the ability to work autonomously.
n
- Good observation skills with an awareness of surroundings.
n
- Reliable team members with good communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- A current NSW Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
n
- Hourly rates will vary depending on age and prior qualifications - approx. $30-$45 per hour plus allowances.
n
