Occupational Therapist — Casual | $65–75/hour + Super South-Eastern & Eastern Melbourne | Alleviate Plus About us Alleviate Plus is a mobile allied health practice delivering care at home for older adults across Melbourne's south-eastern and eastern suburbs, working with Support at Home and Home Care Package recipients. Our work centres on what keeps people living safely and independently at home: home modifications and equipment prescription, functional decline in everyday tasks, falls risk, cognitive changes and dementia support, fatigue and energy conservation, and hospital-to-home reablement. This is Support at Home / HCP work only — no NDIS caseload.

This role suits someone genuinely comfortable working autonomously, owning your own caseload and clinical decisions without a co-located OT team to check in with day to day. You'll be part of a small, team-oriented multidisciplinary team with genuine clinical overlap on shared clients. We're a lean, growing practice, and there's room to shape how OT gets delivered as we evolve.

What you'll be doing

- Home-based OT assessment and intervention for older clients: functional/ADL assessment, equipment prescription, home modification recommendations, post-hospital/surgical reablement and falls risk management.

- Managing your own diary & caseload
n

What we're after

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
n
- 5+ years' post-graduate clinical experience, ideally including community or home-based aged care
n
- Comfortable working solo, without a co-located OT team to lean on
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- A current National Police Check (or a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance)
n
- Right to work in Australia

- $65–75/hour casual rate, depending on experience and autonomy, + 12% superannuation
n
- Vehicle allowance of $1.01/km for travel between clients
n
- Real autonomy over how you structure your week and run your caseload
n
- Room to grow if desired - more hours, a shift toward permanent hours or a senior/supervisory OT role, as our client base grows
n
- Scheduling support, invoicing, and day-to-day liaison with referring providers handled by the practice
n

Hours Casual, with no guaranteed hours to start. As our client base grows, so does the work on offer.
