We are a well-established and growing family-owned business based in Bayswater, and we're looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding team.

About the Role

n

You'll be working on a range of heavy commercial vehicles.

n

Your day-to-day work will include:

n

n
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
n
- Servicing and maintaining heavy vehicles
n
- Truck and trailer repairs and maintenance
n
- Preventative maintenance and inspections
n
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
n
- Working alongside our experienced workshop team
n
- Helping keep our growing fleet safe, reliable and on the road
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers
n
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent recognized qualification required
n
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
n
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
n




- Self‐motivated and willing to learn and develop
n
- Own basic tools – specialty tools provided
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- MR/HR licence highly regarded
n
- Willingness to obtain an MR/HR license will be supported by the business
n
- Ability to work well as part of a team
n
