EWS Recruitment is currently looking for reliable, hardworking Civil Labourers who have their own transport to join our growing labour pool for projects across Melbourne.

We work with a range of civil construction clients, so if we don't have the perfect job for you straight away, we can add you to our pool and work with you to find something that suits your experience, location and availability.

n

We can also get you into work quickly to fill any gaps between jobs, while our goal is to find you ongoing, consistent work with a client where you fit in well.

n

If you prove yourself, have a good attitude and get on well with the team, there is the potential for long-term and ongoing work.

n

What You'll Be Doing:

n

General civil labouring and site preparation

n

Digging trenches and assisting with excavations

n

Loading, unloading and moving materials

n

Assisting concreters, carpenters, steel fixers and machine operators

n

Concrete works including mixing, pouring and finishing

n

Pipe laying for water, sewer and stormwater

n

Assisting with conduits, kerbs, gutters, paving and drainage

n

Compacting crushed rock and preparing foundations

n

Using small plant and power tools such as jackhammers, compactors and concrete saws

n





General site clean-up and maintenance

n

What We're Looking For:

n

Minimum 1 year labouring experience

n

White Card – essential

n

Reliable and flexible

n

Positive attitude and willing to take direction

n

Physically fit with solid manual handling skills

n

Well presented and professional when representing EWS and our clients

n

Reliable transport

n
