If you’re an experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with adults in the community, this is a great opportunity to build your career in the growing Support at Home / Home Care Package space .

Best Home Therapy is currently looking for Intermediate and Senior Occupational Therapists anywhere in Melbourne.

The caseload is predominantly older adults funded through Support at Home , giving you the opportunity to develop strong experience in aged care, equipment prescription, home modifications, falls prevention and functional assessments.

There is also the option to maintain some NDIS work if that interests you , however this is not a requirement . If you’re looking to move away from an NDIS-heavy caseload, the team can tailor the role accordingly.

The Opportunity

You’ll work predominantly with older adults in their homes, supporting clients to remain safe, independent and confident in their everyday lives.

Your caseload may include:

- Functional and home safety assessments
- Assistive technology and equipment prescription
- Equipment trials
- Minor and major home modifications
- Falls prevention
- Rehabilitation and independence-focused interventions
- Activities of daily living assessments
- Support at Home recommendations and reporting

Caseloads are structured geographically wherever possible, helping reduce unnecessary travel and creating a more sustainable working week.

Intermediate & Senior Opportunities

There are currently two levels of opportunity available depending on your experience.





Intermediate Occupational Therapist

Ideal for an OT who already has community experience and is looking to further develop their skills across Support at Home, assistive technology and home modifications.

Senior Occupational Therapist

Suited to an experienced clinician who is confident working autonomously in HCP / Support at Home and is looking for greater responsibility, clinical development and potential progression into mentoring or leadership.

Both roles receive support from experienced OTs, multidisciplinary clinicians and an approachable leadership team.

The team aims to build your caseload around your location and minimise unnecessary travel.

Strong clinical support

Work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and a multidisciplinary clinical team, with mentoring and professional development available.
