NORTHSIX is partnering with an established distribution and logistics business supplying quick-moving consumer goods across Victoria.

This is an opportunity to bring your senior leadership skills and take ownership of a state's transport operations, with influence across commercial outcomes and a direct line into executive decision making.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead transport operations across the state
n
- Manage carrier, supplier and third party logistics relationships
n
- Oversee commercial performance including revenue, cost and margin outcomes
n
- Build and grow customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the existing network
n
- Lead, coach and develop supervisors and frontline teams
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant transport, safety and regulatory requirements
n
- Contribute to planning and forecasting for the state's operations
n

About You

n

- Demonstrated experience leading transport operations at a state or multi site level
n
- Background in fast-moving consumer goods, retail distribution or high-volume, short
n
- cycle environments
n
- Strong understanding of transport compliance and safety legislation
n
- Proven experience managing budgets and commercial outcomes
n
- Confident negotiator with strong relationship and communication skills
n
- Comfortable leading through change, with a consultative leadership style
n
