Job Description

We are looking for a passionate person who loves sales, customers, and food! Seeking a "go getter" that is ready to lead our friendly and hardworking Food Service Sales Support team. Your team thrives on leading and providing exceptional customer service to our clients, and hands on and proactive support to our Sales Reps out on the road. In this role, you will be located in a contemporary office, guiding, supporting and leading a small team (3 people) and your customers are our hospitality venues who use our products to create their amazing dishes.

Key responsibilities

n

Proactively supporting sales strategies, driving promotions, upselling and building customer relationships

n

Finding opportunities with existing clients for upselling and cross selling, increasing customer basket size

n

Sales administration duties including generating and maintaining sales quotations, pricing and sales contracts, customer documents, new line forms

n

Overseeing daily work flow in a small but capable team of 3, ensuring the teams goals are met on a daily basis

n

Providing exceptional customer service, answering enquiries, problem solving for our clients via phone and email

n

Providing exceptional support to our external sales team – including customer enquiries, quotations, pricing and other duties

n

Assistant to the department head in supporting key accounts and executing sales strategies

n

Maintaining aspects of our ecommerce including client logins, registrations, troubleshooting and product information

n

Preparing, assessing, collating sales reports for management and the sales team

n

Responsible for rostering, mentoring,



guiding and supporting the team to ensure smooth operations and KPI's are met

n

About you

n

At least 1 year's experience in a team leader position

n

Strong sales and customer focused background

n

Experience in hospitality or FMCG with a passion for food is an advantage

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

n

Strong administrative and organisational skills

n

Relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders

n

Solid IT skills including Excel and Microsoft Office

n

Self-starter who thrives in a rapid paced environment

n

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

n

Results oriented, with a solution focused mindset
