Sea Sea is a 25-room boutique hotel in Crescent Head, blending the laid-back spirit of 70's Australian surf culture with a progressive, modern outlook. Alongside our rooms, we run a restaurant, bar and surf club - valuable food, cold drinks and easy days by the beach, all under one roof.

We're looking for a warm, organised Receptionist to be the first friendly face our guests meet - casual or part-time, with hours to suit. We're a small team, so everyone pitches in across departments to keep Sea Sea running at its best - this role is no exception.

THE ROLE

n

As our Receptionist, you'll be the heart of our front desk, helping to make every guest's stay feel effortless. Day to day, you'll:

n

Welcome guests and manage check-in / check-out

n

Handle phone, email and walk-in enquiries and reservations

n

Process payments and keep guest accounts accurate

n

Take restaurant, bar and surf club bookings

n

Share local knowledge - best surf spots, beaches, cafes and things to do

n

Be the go-to for guest requests and feedback, following up until they're sorted

n

Help keep the lobby and public spaces looking their best

n

Because we're a small team,



you'll also lend a hand where it's needed most - whether that's:

n

Helping housekeeping with room turnovers or linen during busy periods

n

Supporting the restaurant, bar or poolside with light F&B; service

n

Pitching in with event or group booking set-up

n

Generally keeping an eye out and jumping in wherever Sea Sea needs it

n

ABOUT YOU

n

A genuine people-person with a warm, welcoming manner

n

Previous experience in hotel reception, hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not essential - attitude matters most

n

Well organised, calm under pressure and comfortable multitasking

n

Confident with computers; experience with booking/PMS systems (e.g. Cloudbeds) is a bonus

n

Happy to muck in and help out across departments - no task too small in a small team

n

Available across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

n
