- Sunshine Coast Area: Supported Independent Living (SIL) shifts -inactive overnights required

About the Role

n

As a Lifestyle Mentor, you'll be helping participants build their independence and lead fulfilling lives. Your days will be guided by a commitment to Purpose, Chance, and Passion. Key responsibilities include:

n

- Supporting personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and domestic activities.
n
- Encouraging skills development such as job readiness, cooking, financial literacy, or navigating public transport.
n
- Promoting social and community inclusion by helping participants connect, forge friendships, and pursue their interests.
n

Beneficial Requirements

Bring your passion to IDSS, and we'll help you create lasting opportunities! While prior experience is valued, growth is accessible to all. Beneficial qualifications include:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (beneficial, but not essential)
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card (or willingness to apply for)
n
- A current Australian driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
n
- Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission eLearning Certificates. (or willingness to complete)
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Ability to quickly learn and use various apps and systems.
n
