We're currently seeking an experienced Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our team and support us through our busy periods, including the upcoming Christmas season.

About the Role

n

This is a varied nursing position that will see you rotating between reception and clinical duties, working as a valued member of our veterinary team.

n

You'll be involved in all aspects of patient care and client support, helping our clinic deliver an exceptional experience for pets and their people.

n

What We're Looking For

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
n
- A minimum of 2 years' veterinary nursing experience
n
- Confidence and competence in:n n
- Running in-house blood tests
n
- Performing radiography (X-rays)
n
- Monitoring anaesthesia
n
- Conducting nurse consultations
n

n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- The ability to work effectively across both reception and back-of-house duties
n
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a great sense of humour
n

n

Availability

n

We're ideally looking for someone who is available:

n

n
- Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (or a minimum of two full days per week)
n




- Additional availability during the busy Christmas period
n
- Saturday availability is highly regarded, but not essential
n

n
