The Role
n
As a Forklift Driver, you will play an important role in keeping warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload and move raw materials and finished goods.
n
- Supply production lines with ingredients, packaging and materials to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
n
- Remove finished products from production areas and transfer them to designated storage locations.
n
- Receive incoming deliveries and ensure stock is correctly checked, stored and rotated.
n
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock checks and cycle counts.
n
- Follow FIFO, food safety, hygiene and quality procedures at all times.
n
- Ensure products and materials are stored safely and correctly within designated areas.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe warehouse and production environment.
n
- Follow all WHS,
food safety and site operating procedures.
n
- Support production and warehouse teams with general duties as required.
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- A valid forklift license with demonstrated forklift operating experience.
n
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
n
- Previous experience in a warehouse, FMCG or distribution environment.
n
- The ability to safely lift and move products safely
n
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
- A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.
n
