Key Responsibilities
- Service,testandmaintainfiredetectionandalarmsystems
- Diagnosefaultsandcarryoutrepairstofirealarm,EWISAndassociatedsystems
- Install,commissionandconfigurefireprotectionsystemsforcommercialprojects
- ConductinspectionsinaccordancewithAustralianStandardsandrelevantregulations
- Identifyrepairandupgraderequirementsandassistwithremedialrecommendations
- Completeservicereportsandrequiredcompliancedocumentation
- Workcloselywithprojectandserviceteamstodeliverqualityoutcomes
- Maintainahighstandardofworkmanshipwhilefollowingallsafetyprocedures
- Provideexcellentcustomerservicewhileworkingindependentlyandwithinateam
- Participateinovertimeandon-callworkwhenrequired
Requirements & Eligibility
- PreviousexperienceasanElectricianand/orDryFireTechnician
- Strongfault-findingandtroubleshootingskills
- Experienceworkingwithfirealarmsystems,smokedetection,EWIS/BOWSandrelatedequipment
- CurrentWhiteCard
- Currentdriver'slicence
- Excellentcommunicationandproblem-solvingskills
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanageworkloadseffectively
- Commitmenttoworkplacesafetyandqualityworkmanship
- NSWElectricalLicence(highlyregarded)
- CertificateIIIinElectrotechnologyorequivalentqualification(preferred)
- FPASorFireSafetyAssessoraccreditation(advantageous)
