About the Role
We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused Internal Sales and Customer Service Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers — building strong relationships, processing orders, and helping drive recent business across your allocated zone.

What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining and growing profitable relationships within your customer base
Making regular scheduled calls to customers to build rapport and identify opportunities
Processing inbound and outbound orders accurately and efficiently (phone and email)
Proactively contacting customers about stock shortages and offering suitable alternatives
Sourcing and onboarding new customer leads into our systems
Following up on overdue accounts
Supporting Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers with appointments and customer follow-ups
Identifying new business opportunities and referring them to the Business Development team
Reporting on customer feedback, new product ideas, and market activity
Assisting with product recalls/withdrawals and covering colleagues during leave periods
Helping uphold our Quality and Food Safety (HACCP) standards
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or a call-centre environment (food/FMCG experience a plus)
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service
Comfortable multitasking in a rapid-paced workplace
Good computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
A team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
