About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and providing excellent service to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting customers with pharmacy and retail products
- Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
- Receiving, unpacking and putting away stock
- Stock control, ordering and maintaining stock levels
- Merchandising and maintaining pharmacy displays
- Checking and rotating stock and monitoring expiry dates
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy
- Assisting pharmacists and other team members with general pharmacy duties
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Professional and well presented
- Available for either full-time or part-time work
Previous community pharmacy or retail experience is preferred, but not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
Experience with pharmacy products, S2/S3 medicines or pharmacy point-of-sale systems will be highly regarded.
