Our client is seeking a management accountant to join their finance team. This varied role combines hands-on accounting with financial reporting, analysis and business partnering, providing valuable exposure to the broader financial performance of a manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- Managebank and balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and month-end close.
- Preparemonthly P&L; reporting, variance analysis and management commentary.
- Manageinventory accounting, including stock reconciliations, valuation, provisions and variance analysis.
- Analyseproduction costs, labour, overhead and inventory variances.
- Track capital expenditure and maintain supporting records.
- ProduceKPI reports, dashboards and site performance reporting.
- Partner with operational teams to providefinancial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain strongfinancial controls, system accuracy and compliance, while identifying process improvements.
- Provide support and mentoring to team members and limited cover for routine Financial Controller activities.
