The Holmwood Group has been leading the industry in bulk liquid transport for over 50 years. Due to an increase in work in our Service department, we arecurrently seeking a trailer mechanic with experience working within the heavy transport industry. Candidates with previous experience working in a service and repairs department are highly desired.

- Previous working experience as a diesel mechanic or an automotive mechanic

- Knowledge of pneumatic systems

- Knowledge of hydraulics desirable but not required

- Experience on trailer servicing and refurbishing

- Current valid driver's licence

On offer for immediate start is a casual role at our brand recent production facility in a convenient Derrimut location close to Ring road. After a two month period, a formal review will be conducted to determine whether a permanent position will be offered. This position would suit someone looking for a stable position and the opportunity to be a part of an organisation.

Your key responsibilities include but at not limited to:

- Meeting deadlines in appointed time frames
n
- General fitting and mechanical work for trailers
n
- Repairs and maintenance of trailers including pneumatics
n
- Conducting safety/suitability tests and other system checks
n
- Suspension maintenance, repairs, and fit-out
n
- Ability to operate use tools and machinery accurately
n
