The Role

n

As Team Leader - Environmental Health, you will lead a dedicated team delivering key environmental health services that protect and enhance the wellbeing of our community.

n

Working closely with the Coordinator Environmental Health, you will oversee statutory and regulatory functions, provide expert advice on environmental health matters, drive service improvements and support the delivery of high-quality customer service.

n

This is an exciting prospect for a capable leader to influence public health outcomes while developing a high-performing and collaborative team.

n

This is a temporary leave backfill position to 5 March 2027.

n

About You

n

You are an experienced Environmental Health professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for achieving positive community outcomes.

n

You have a sound understanding of environmental health legislation and compliance frameworks, coupled with the ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team.

n

You bring excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, and can confidently manage competing priorities in a complex operational environment.

n

A relevant qualification in Environmental Health and eligibility for EHA or EHPA membership are essential.

n

This role requires a satisfactory police records check and employee Working with Children Check.

n
