Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Maintenance Officer (Monday to Thursday, 60h/ fortnight) to work across our Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living Units in Maroubra.

The Role

n

n
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across our aged care and retirement living community, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
n
- Maintain attractive and safe outdoor areas through lawn mowing, hedging, gardening, and general grounds maintenance.
n
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to keep our buildings, equipment, and assets in excellent condition.
n
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve repairs efficiently.
n




- Help ensure our facilities meet safety and regulatory standards while contributing to a positive Work Health and Safety (WHS) culture.
n
- Current driver's license
n
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
n
- Experience as a Maintenance Person in Retirement Living (preferred)
n
- Previousexperiencein either building, fitter and turner, welderor plumber (desirable)
