Family-owned Australian manufacturer seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our workshop team.

n

We design and build a high-quality, Australian-made product that we are proud of. This is a hands-on role in a comfortable, well-equipped family workshop with a small, down-to-earth team.

The role

n

Full-time position with regular overtime available

n

Fabricate and weld mild steel components (1.5 mm - 5 mm)

n

Read drawings and work to tight tolerances

n

Produce quality frames and assemblies for our workbenches

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience welding and fabricating mild steel in the 1.5 mm - 5 mm range

n

Solid understanding of workshop machine operation

n





Ability to work accurately and take pride in the finished product

n

Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a small team

n

Bonuses (not essential)

n

TIG welding experience

n

Brake press operation

n

What we offer

$40 - $50 per hour (depending on experience and skill)

n

Full-time hours with overtime

n
