THE ROLE

n

The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in delivering a stream within the Energy Efficiency in Social Housing Program.



This stream seeks to deliver a pilot Virtual Power Plant for renters in public housing apartment blocks.

This will reduce renters' cost of living and help shape a more sustainable future. It is also intended that scalable methods will be found to offer Virtual Power Plants to apartment dwellers more broadly.

As part of an innovative and collaborative team, this role will critically evaluate proposals, collaborate internally and with contractors, establish and apply a rigorous project management plan and ensure the program meets high standards of quality and efficiency. There will also be opportunities to work on other projects within the team related to maximising outcomes across the asset lifecycle.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Collaborate with project partners and participate in the co-design and delivery of a pilot Virtual Power Plant for public housing apartments, using relevant specialist energy systems skills and expertise.
n
- Contribute to the full life cycle of the project to meet departmental objectives including: (a) Undertaking research, analysis and implementation based on defined outcomes and outputs. (b) Managing the project or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the project/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters. (c) Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.

- Coordinate procurement processes, including the preparation and evaluation of tender documents.
