Yargi Racing is seeking a highly experienced and capable Horse Trainer to join the team. This is a full-time and ongoing position.

Key responsibilities

- Train and educate young horses
- Conduct track work, including riding timed gallops
- Apply horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred Racing
- Operate equipment safely and use personal protective equipment
- Take instruction and provide information through verbal and written communication
- Work in a team and independently

About you

- Minimum 2-3 years full-time skilled experience in a similar role, or 2 years full-time experience and a relevant qualification
- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred Racing
- Experience in track work, including riding timed gallops
- Proven ability to train and educate young horses
- Verbal and written communication skills to take instruction and provide information
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
