Front Office Team Member — Reception & Reservations — Full time

Trentham Waters Resort is looking for a reliable, guest-focused Full-Time Reception / Reservations Front Desk team member to join our growing front office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in the tourism industry at a new resort, working alongside our Assistant Manager and Duty Supervisor in a supportive, close-knit team.

Key responsibilities

Welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out for villa and site accommodation

Respond to guest queries in person, by phone, and by email in a warm, professional manner

Handle guest requests, complaints, and special occasions with a solutions-focused approach

Coordinate with housekeeping on villa status, early check-ins, and turnover timing

Manage new bookings, amendments, and cancellations across all accommodation types

Process payments, account balances, and outstanding booking costs accurately

Maintain accurate guest and booking records in the property management system (Newbook)

Monitor the Due for Arrival list and prepare for daily check-ins





Support the front office team with day-to-day front office operations

Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area

About you

Confident, friendly communicator with strong customer service skills

Comfortable using booking/property management software (Newbook experience a plus, but not essential)

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Well presented with a genuine passion for guest experience

Available to work the Tuesday–Saturday roster, including some public holidays
