We are seeking a full-time Educator to join in our (3 months - 2.5 years) multi-age program with our wonderful service in Elwood. We are an exceeding service, dedicated to providing high-quality Early Years Education in line with the National Quality Frameworkand the Elwood Children's Centre philosophy.

The successful candidate will:

- Be passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide written, accurate documentation supporting practice and compliance requirements.
n
- Be committed to ongoing quality improvement.
n
- Have the ability to maintain positive relationships with all families and co-educators.
n
- Have experienceworking with children aged from 3 months- school age.
n

The Centre:
n
The Elwood Children's Centre (ECC) offers quality childcare in a parent-managed, community-based childcare center for 39 children from three months to school age, incorporating funded three and four-year-old Kindergarten Programs.
n
We value play-based learning andprovide non-rushed, open-ended programs emphasising natural and recycled play materials.
Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework(EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and encourage important life skills such as independence and problem-solving.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you will have:
n
n
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
n
- Over 2 years' experience working in an Early Childhood setting.
n
n
