Administration Officer — Landscaping & Construction
We are seeking an organised and reliable Administration Officer to join our Ballarat-based landscaping and construction team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, works well with a practical team, and is comfortable supporting day-to-day office and business operations.
About the Role
The successful applicant will provide administration support across a busy landscaping and construction business, assisting with invoicing, payroll, system updates, and general office tasks. The role can be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the right candidate’s availability and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- General administration and office support
- Preparing and processing invoices
- Assisting with payroll tasks
- Using and updating the AroFlo job management system
- Supporting the landscaping and construction team with scheduling, records, and job information
- Creating POs,
matching project POs with bills in Company systems and managing costings of projects to ensure within budget
- Prepare and submit project variations for approval
- Maintaining accurate documentation and assisting with day-to-day business operations
About You
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident with computers and general office systems
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Good communication skills and a helpful attitude
- Proficiency in AroFlo or similar job management software highly regarded
- Previous administration, invoicing, payroll experience is essential
