We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Advisor to join a collaborative People & Culture team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services, employee benefits administration, and payroll compliance while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll qualified who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong payroll processing, reconciliation, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce
n
- Complex payroll calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations
n
- Processing employee commencements, variations, and terminations
n
- Managing superannuation, tax, workers compensation, and leave payments
n
- Assisting with payroll reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
n
- Providing payroll advice and support to employees and managers
n
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity
n
- Supporting payroll improvement initiatives and system enhancements
n

About You
n
n
- Proven end-to-end payroll experience
n
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, and taxation requirements
n
- Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions from onboarding through to termination
n
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Experience with Aurion or similar payroll/HRIS platforms
n
- Experience working within a large, complex organisation
n
n
