Job Description
Location: Ballykin ELC Cromer | Northern Beaches, NSW
n Status: Full Time | 5 days with Monthly RDO | Paid Lunch Break

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to work in our Preschool class and who is ready to make a meaningful impact — someone who values relationships, child-led learning, and above all, child safety and wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Deliver high-quality, play-based learning programs grounded in the EYLF
n
- Working as part of our PRESCHOOL team, with two Early Childhood Teachers who are focussed on collaborating with you on the educational program
n
- Build strong,
trusting relationships with children, families, and your team
n
- Create inclusive, stimulating environments that reflect children's voices and interests
n
- Lead and contribute to safe and responsive practices, upholding our commitment to child protection
n
- Observe and document learning and development, and contribute to thoughtful planning
n
- Bring your own unique passions — whether it's music, sustainability, storytelling, or STEM
n
- Take full advantage of our stunning natural setting to promote outdoor learning
n
- Support and mentor colleagues to build a culture of curiosity, professionalism, and fun
n
n
Who We're Looking For
n
n
- Diploma or experienced Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- Experience in a long day care or preschool environment
n
- Robust understanding of child development, EYLF, NQS, and child-led learning
n
- Demonstrated knowledge of child safe practices and a proactive commitment to maintaining a secure, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A team player with a warm, reflective, and professional approach
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, Food Safety training
n
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check and Child Protection qualification
n
