The Opportunity

n

We are seeking a Lawyer (4+ PAE)



with broad general commercial experience and some litigation exposure to join our growing practice.

n

This is a client‐facing role with responsibility across a diverse mix of commercial matters. You will take ownership of files from start to finish while working collaboratively with the broader team.

n

Your work will include:

n

- Commercial transactions: structuring, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements
n
- General commercial advisory including trade mark and leasing work across varied industries
n
- Supporting dispute matters where commercial litigation experience is relevant
n

n

You will also play a role in business development. While prior business development experience is not essential, a willingness to engage in networking and relationship‐building is important.

n

This role suits someone who values autonomy, is comfortable operating in a flat structure, and wants to contribute both legally and commercially.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Advisory Work

- Manage matters from commencement through to completion
n
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements

- Provide clear, practical and commercially grounded advice

- Support dispute and litigation‐related matters where required

Client & Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong client relationships

- Work directly with business owners and senior decision‐makers

- Contribute to the firm's reputation for accessible, results‐driven advice

Business Development & Contribution

- Participate in networking events and industry engagement

- Contribute to strategic discussions about firm growth

- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the practice

About You

n

You are commercially minded, pragmatic and confident managing matters independently. You enjoy working directly with clients and delivering advice that is both technically sound and commercially realistic.

n

You're not looking for a traditional hierarchical firm structure. You value flexibility, autonomy and being trusted to deliver outcomes.

You will bring:

- 4 + years post‐admission experience in commercial law
n
- Strong experience across general commercial advisory and transactions
n
- Some litigation or dispute resolution experience
n
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
n
- Confidence managing matters independently
n
- A willingness to engage in networking and business development activities
n
- Strong organisational skills and follow‐through
n
- An interest in contributing to the growth and evolution of the firm will be highly regarded.
