As Mayvers continues to grow, we are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help bring our brand to life across social media through engaging content, strong community management and seamless campaign execution.
n
The Role
n
Reporting to and working closely with our Social Media & Partnerships Manager, our new Social Media Coordinator will support the day to day management of our consumer community, execution of Mayvers social media and digital content activity.
n
You will help plan, create, publish and optimise engaging social first content while supporting our creator, influencer, partnership and broader digital marketing activity.
n
This is a hands on role suited to someone who loves social media, understands digital culture and wants to develop their career within a fast moving, high growth FMCG brand.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Social Media Planning & Execution
n
n
- Support the execution of Mayvers social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
n
- Maintain and coordinate the social media content calendar, ensuring approved content is scheduled and published accurately and on time.
n
- Support product launches, campaigns, partnerships, retail events and always-on brand activity across social channels.
n
- Write engaging, on brand captions and social copy aligned with Mayvers tone of voice.
n
- Repurpose and adapt content across different social platforms and formats.
n
- Monitor platform updates, social trends, trending formats and cultural moments to identify relevant opportunities for Mayvers.
n
n
Content Creation
n
n
- Create engaging, high quality social first video content including Reels, TikToks, Stories and behind the scenes content.
n
- Assist with regular content shoots including preparation, product styling, filming and basic production.
n
- Edit short form video content using tools such as CapCut, Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
n
- Create simple social graphics and digital assets where required, complementing work produced by our Graphic Designer.
n
- Prepare clear creative briefs and coordinate with internal and external creative partners.
n
- Maintain an organised library of photography, video, creator content and social assets.
n
n
Community Management
n
n
- Monitor, moderate and respond to comments, direct messages and consumer interactions across Mayvers social channels.
n
- Help build a positive, engaging and responsive Mayvers online community.
n
- Escalate sensitive consumer enquiries, complaints or issues to the Social Media & Partnerships Manager or relevant internal team members.
n
- Identify recurring consumer questions, feedback and sentiment that can help inform future content and communications.
n
n
Influencers, Partnerships & Product Seeding
n
n
- Support influencer, creator, ambassador and brand partnership campaigns.
n
- Maintain creator and influencer databases, campaign trackers and contact information.
n
- Coordinate product gifting, influencer mail outs, samples and campaign deliveries.
n
- Assist with creator communication, campaign briefing and administration.
n
- Track creator deliverables and ensure agreed content is received within campaign timelines.
n
- Monitor and collate creator and partnership content for reporting and future use.
n
- Identify emerging creators and potential brand partners for consideration.
n
- Support giveaways, collaborations, events and brand activations as required.
n
n
Social Media Reporting & Insights
n
n
- Track key social media metrics including reach, engagement, views, follower growth and content performance.
n
- Assist with weekly, monthly and campaign performance reporting.
n
- Identify top performing content, emerging trends and key learnings to support future content planning.
n
- Maintain accurate and organised social media and campaign performance records.
n
n
Digital & Marketing Support
n
Assist with uploading recipes, campaign content and relevant updates to the Mayvers website.
n
Support digital content updates and preparation of assets for website and EDM activity where required.
n
Work closely with our Graphic Designer and broader marketing team to coordinate campaign assets and materials.
n
Assist with social campaign launches, competitions and brand activations.
n
Provide general social media and digital marketing coordination support across the marketing team.
n
Stay up to date with social media trends, consumer behaviour,
competitor activity and emerging platforms.
n
About You
n
You are a passionate and proactive team player who loves social media, content and digital culture.
n
You are creative, hands on and very comfortable jumping in front of or behind the camera to help bring ideas to life. You have a strong eye for high quality, engaging content and understand what makes someone stop scrolling.
n
You thrive in a fast paced environment, are highly organised and enjoy working collaboratively while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
n
You will also bring:
n
n
- 1-2 years' experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing or a similar role.
n
- A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related discipline.
n
- Solid knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging social platforms.
n
- Demonstrated experience creating short form video and social first content.
n
- Confidence filming and editing content using a phone and social editing tools.
n
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt copy to a brand tone of voice.
n
- Experience using Canva, CapCut and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
n
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, social media management tools and content management systems is desirable.
n
- An understanding of social media analytics and key performance metrics.
n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and strong sense of urgency.
n
- The ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player.
n
- Experience within FMCG, food, lifestyle or consumer brands is highly regarded but not essential.
n
- A genuine interest in food, consumer brands, social trends and digital culture.
n
