We are continuing to grow and are seeking experienced Boilermakers / Welders to join our team at our modular manufacturing facility in Geelong.
n

About the role
n
Reporting to the relevant supervisor, you will be responsible for general metal fabrication and welding duties, including:
n
n
- measuring and setting out;
n
- cutting, fit-up and fabrication;
n
- MIG welding;
n
- welding and fabricating structural steel;
n
- reading and working from steel shop drawings;
n
- surface preparation and treatment;
n
- maintaining quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
- an Australian recognised trade qualification in fabrication, preferred;
n
- minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role;
n
- experience with MIG welding and structural steel fabrication;
n
- ability to read and interpret steel shop drawings;
n
- strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship;
n
- a solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements;
n
- experience in engineering, manufacturing or quality fabrication environments.
