As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications. You will play an important role within our Paint & Repair Centre at Illawarra Toyota, a professional, well-established automotive dealership.

Key responsibilities

- Carrying out quality vehicle body repairs and panel work
n
- Assessing vehicle damage and determining the required repairs
n
- Removing, repairing and refitting damaged body panels and components
n
- Straightening and repairing vehicle body structures where required
n
- Ensuring correct panel alignment, gaps and finishes
n
- Working closely with our paint and mechanical teams throughout the repair process
n
- Following manufacturer repair procedures and specifications
n
- Ensuring all repairs meet our quality and safety standards
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
n
- Completing work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
n

About you
n

- Is an experienced and qualified Panel Beater / Body Repair Technician
n
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
n
- Has solid attention to detail
n
- Can accurately assess vehicle damage and carry out repairs
n
- Works well independently and as part of a team
n
- Has a strong commitment to safety and quality
n
- Is reliable, organised and takes ownership of their work
n
- Has a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a great team environment
n
- Experience working with Toyota vehicles or within a dealership/collision repair workplace will be highly regarded
n
