We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sheetmetal Trade Assistant to join our manufacturing team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a factory environment and is keen to develop their skills within the sheetmetal industry.

Working Hours

n

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 3:30pm

n

Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm

n

Saturday work will be required during peak production periods ( April – September)

n

Key Responsibilities

n

The successful applicant will be involved in a range of factory and production duties, including:

n

n
- Spot welding
n
- Rolling flue and ducting components
n
- Assisting tradespeople with fabrication and assembly tasks
n
- General factory and workshop duties
n
- Material handling and preparation
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will:

n

n




- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
n
- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
n
- Be capable of heavy lifting up to 25kg as required for manual handling tasks
n
- Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Previous experience in manufacturing, sheetmetal, or factory environments is desirable but not essential
n
- Have the ability to use basic hand tools effectively
n

- Provides evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.

- Undertakes a Police Check
n
- Is able to travel to Factory Location in Lilydale.
