Holicare is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Overnight Personal Care Worker to join growing community care team across Melbourne.

This role is ideal for a Personal Care Worker, who is comfortable working independently overnight and is committed to providing safe, respectful, and person-centred care.

Overnight shifts are generally 6.00 pm - 6.00 am, consisting of:

- 4 hours of active work
- 8 hours of inactive sleepover time

You will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their dignity, safety, independence and wellbeing throughout the night.

You must have your own reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different client locations across Melbourne. A transportation allowance is paid fortnightly.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients overnight
- Assist with personal hygiene, mobility and activities of daily living
- Monitor and respond appropriately to client needs throughout the shift
- Support clients in accordance with their individual care plans
- Maintain a secure, respectful and comfortable environment
- Complete required documentation and shift notes
- Identify and report any changes in client's health and wellbeing
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the team

About You

You are a compassionate and capable Personal Care Worker who thrives in community-based care.

You will demonstrate:

- Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability, or Certificate III in Individual Support
- Previous experience as a personal care worker (aged care, disability or home care)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Mandatory Requirements:

- Current working rights in Australia
- Current Police Check (within last 12 months)




- Employee Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
