You’ll work alongside the Head Chef, lead from the pass and help a growing community venue build its reputation for great food.

What you’ll do
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and team leadership
- Run service with a focus on food quality, timing and presentation
- Train and support chefs, cooks and kitchen hands
- Assist with ordering, stock control, food costs and waste management
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is away
What you’ll bring
- Experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Confidence leading service in a busy pub, bistro or restaurant
- A positive understanding of food costs, stock control and food safety
- A hands-on approach and clear, respectful communication
- Availability across weekdays, nights and weekends
