The Role – General Insurance Investigator

n

We are seeking experienced General Insurance Investigators / Private Investigators to join our growing team servicing Greater Melbourne.

n

This role will involve end‐to‐end insurance claim investigations, including interviewing, evidence gathering, report preparation, and liaison with insurers.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct General Insurance Claims Investigations
n
- Interview insured parties, witnesses, and relevant third parties
n
- Gather, document, and assess evidence (statements, photographs, records)
n
- Prepare clear, accurate, and professional investigation reports
n




- Communicate effectively with insurers and internal stakeholders
n
- Manage multiple investigations while meeting reporting deadlines
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current experience in insurance investigations or claims investigations
n
- A current Victorian Private Investigator's Licence
n
- Strong time management and case prioritisation skills
n
- Established written communication and report‐writing ability
n
- A skilled approach and strong commitment to client outcomes
n
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
n

Highly Desirable

n

n
- Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice
n
- Proven experience conducting General Insurance Investigations
n
