We are seeking a caring, confident and experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to take responsibility for the clinical coordination of a designated resident unit while working collaboratively with our Registered Nurses and Personal Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
About the Role
- Coordinate the day-to-day clinical care and operations of a designated resident unit during your shift.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to Personal Care Assistants within your allocated unit.
- Deliver nursing care within your scope of practice under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications (where appropriately endorsed).
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and promptly report changes in condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Assist with clinical assessments, care planning, documentation and evaluations.
- Ensure care is delivered in accordance with organisational policies,
skilled standards and legislative requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, General Practitioners and Allied Health professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing career development.
- Promote a safe, caring and positive environment for residents, families and colleagues.
About You
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
- Medication endorsement (where applicable).
- Experience in residential aged care (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the day-to-day operations of a resident unit and provide leadership to Personal Care Assistants.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, coordinate care delivery and make sound clinical decisions within scope of practice.
- Well-developed organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Evidence of required vaccinations.
