White Acorn Capital is an Australian private credit manager operating under an AFSL focused on construction finance (core strategy), commercial mortgages & other private debt strategies.

We are seeking a motivated university student or recent graduate with a strong interest in private credit, investment management and financial markets to join our team.

This is a broad and analytical role spanning private credit investment analysis, investor relations and capital activities.

The successful candidate will work alongside senior management and gain exposure to both the underlying credit transactions in which capital is deployed and the wholesale investors who provide that capital.

Key Responsibilities

- Support capital raising and investor engagement across White Acorn Capital’s private credit strategies.
- Assist in identifying, researching and engaging family offices, HNW/UHNW investors, wealth advisers and other wholesale investor networks.
- Assist with investor meetings, presentations, due diligence, onboarding and ongoing investor communications.
- Prepare investor presentations, transaction summaries and other investment materials, requiring a strong understanding of the underlying credit.
- Develop a detailed understanding of White Acorn Capital’s private credit transactions, including borrower financials, security, property valuations, LVRs, transaction structures and investment returns.
- Assist with financial and investment analysis of prospective and existing private credit transactions.
- Undertake company, industry, property and financial market research to support both investment analysis and investor engagement.
- Analyse and maintain the investor and capital pipeline, including prospective investor activity,



capital commitments and reporting.
- Maintain investor relationships and pipeline activity through CRM and internal systems.
- Work directly with senior management across capital raising, investor relations, credit and investment activities.

About You

We are looking for a student approaching completion of their degree or a recent graduate, preferably studying or qualified in Finance, Banking, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Property or a related discipline. Students & graduates in other disciplined will be also considered.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Strong academic performance and analytical capability.
- Genuine interest in investments & financial markets.
- Strong numerical & financial analysis skills.
- An interest in both investment analysis and the commercial/investor side of funds management.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence interacting professionally with investors and external counterparties.
- High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office.
- Intellectual curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn.

Previous experience in financial services is advantageous but not necessarily required.

The Opportunity

This role offers exposure that is relatively unusual at graduate level: the chance to understand both how private credit investments are originated, analysed & structured and distributed & how capital is raised and managed across a wholesale investor base.

The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced team with institutional banking and private credit backgrounds and gain practical exposure to live transactions, investment analysis, investor engagement and capital formation.

There is scope for the position to develop into a broader role within White Acorn Capital as the business continues to grow.
